Sr. Director, Business Development

Martin heads up KLIFO’s CTS Business Development team, and joined KLIFO in January 2025. While Martin is a relative newcomer to KLIFO, he has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since graduating, and specifically in CTS since 1996.

After graduating in pharmacology in1992, Martin began his career as a medical writer. His first role in clinical trial supply came when he joined CTS/Galen Ltd. (now Almac Clinical Services) in 1996. As part of the leadership team at CTS/Almac, Martin oversaw growth of the Almac’s CTS business from a small regional service provider to a global market leader. Martin left Almac in 2014 ‘for a new challenge’ and found his way to KLIFO after a variety of roles in small and large CTS service providers. Martin has always seen his role as ‘not just about selling’ and has been directly involved in operational projects such as setting up distribution depot networks, innovative product blinding techniques, design and execution of major mega trials, automation of clinical packaging and design and implementation of commercial ERP modules. While almost 30 years in the industry has exposed Martin to all aspects of CTS, he maintains that he still learns something new every day. Working with customers to arrive at innovative solutions to challenges in the ever-evolving clinical supply chain is as rewarding now as it was 30 years ago.
