Long standing experience working with clinical drug development. Served as chief medical officer, medical director, medical lead, senior medical advisor and sponsor’s medical expert for biotech clients in Europe and in USA. Therapeutic experience includes infectious diseases, weight loss therapies, neurological diseases, pain, gastroenterology, diabetes/diabetic retinopathy, pulmonary diseases, cardiovascular disorders, dermatology, rheumatology and rare disorders/orphan drugs. Has prepared for and been medical lead in numerous interactions with regulatory bodies including FDA, EMA and national regulatory bodies in Germany, UK, France and the Nordic countries. Core competences include design of clinical development programmes and clinical studies and development of clinical trial synopses and clinical protocols.
