SUSTAINABILITY POLICY FOR KLIFO

Because good medicine deserves a future.

Introduction

At KLIFO, sustainability isn’t an add-on—it’s part of how we bring medicines to life. As
a drug development consultancy and clinical trial supply partner, we believe that
shaping the future of healthcare also means taking responsibility for the world we do
it in. That means reducing our footprint, raising ethical standards, and contributing
meaningfully to society—while staying true to our roots as an operationally strong and
advisory-driven partner.

Our operations are grounded in compliance with both national and international
regulations, and we expect our suppliers to share our commitment to responsible
practices and the ESG agenda. This Policy is anchored in an ESG Strategy that
outlines the key objectives guiding KLIFO as we meet the needs of markets and
society—today and tomorrow.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

KLIFO aligns with the ESG strategy and maturity model of our owner, Gilde
Healthcare, rooted in the UN PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment).

We also support the UN Global Compact and have aligned our long-term approach
with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing—reflecting our
commitment to developing better therapies and ensuring patients receive the care
they need.

Social Impact

People matter. That’s why KLIFO complies with all relevant labour and human rights
laws. More than that—we strive to be an attractive, responsible employer. We foster a
healthy and safe workplace where people can grow professionally and personally.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion aren’t checkboxes—they’re principles we live by.

As a trusted partner, we pursue the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Our
customers are central to everything we do, and we build lasting relationships on a
foundation of trust and shared success.

Environmental Responsibility

We take a precautionary approach to environmental challenges—not because we have
to, but because we believe it’s right. Though consultancy work isn’t typically resource-
intensive, and clinical trial supply has a higher impact, we aim to minimise our
footprint across all services. That includes holding our suppliers to high standards and
meeting all environmental regulations.

Governance & Business Ethics

Doing good means doing right. At KLIFO, we stand for integrity in action. We maintain
a zero-tolerance policy on corruption and expect the same from our business partners.

High standards of compliance, data security, and transparency are the backbone of
our operations—because trust isn’t claimed, it’s earned. Our Code of Conduct sets the
tone for how we engage with clients, regulators, stakeholders, and society. It reflects
who we are and how we work—with purpose and accountability.

Accountability

We hold ourselves accountable—not just in principle, but in structure:

Leadership & Oversight

Our CEO has overall responsibility for this Policy. The Management Team ensures it’s
understood, embedded in daily operations, and adhered to throughout the
organisation.

Measurable Impact

We set clear sustainability targets and track our progress. Annually, KLIFO reports
ESG data through the Gilde Healthcare ESG Survey and Roadmap, based on the Gilde
ESG Maturity Model via Novata. As we evolve, we will publish a public-facing
sustainability report to share our progress with all stakeholders.

Compliance and Review

This Policy will be reviewed regularly to stay aligned with the times—and our
ambitions. As the world shifts, so will we—always committed to being responsible
partners in tomorrow’s healthcare landscape.
